Introducing Author Rhachelle Nicol’ of Sunday Mourning

Introducing Author  Rhachelle Nicol’ of Sunday Mourning

Describe yourself for our visitors.

I am a mother, author, writer and creative.  I think my writing has been the tool navigating me along this journey we call life.  It has become an outlet to reflect, refocus, find clarity and plan.

How do you find time to connect with God?

Writing is one way in which I connect with God.  I spend a lot of time just being still and quiet and it is usually in those moments that I am inspired to write.  I also love gospel music and prayer is a must.

Who are your favorite authors? Favorite books?  One of my favorite authors is Iyanla Vanzant.  One of her books that have stayed with me down through the years is “Yesterday I Cried”.  I read that book over 12 years ago and it also inspired me writing “Sunday Mourning”.  Nowadays I spend a lot of time  reading non-fiction business type books so I can’t say who my favorite author is in that arena. lol

Tell us about your journey to publication.

I had completed “Sunday Mourning” almost a year or so prior to publishing.  I had done enough research and made the decision to self-publish but I was reluctant to move forward.  I had printed off my manuscript and my sister ended up getting a hold of it without me knowing.  To make a long story short, she stayed up all night reading it and her first words to me when she spoke to me were, “when are you writing the next one”.  I think that was motivation enough for move to push through the fear of it and just do it.

Tell us about your current book?

“Sunday Mourning” takes you on a journey of my life.  It starts off with me going through the most unimaginable event in my life.  I then begin to reflect over my life to make sense on how I had arrived there.  From the outside looking in, I came from the perfect family but there were skeletons that had kept not only myself but also my mother from healing.  So the hurt was being passed on from generation to generation.  “Sunday Mourning” truly woke me up to discovering a brand new life full of purpose, peace and joy.

What valuable lessons do you want readers to learn from your book?

I want readers to understand the importance of forgiveness.  We live, we learn, we grow and forgiveness it what allows us to do just that, otherwise we become bitter and stagnant.

What’s next for you?

Well I am currently writing for a newspaper and I am working on developing my own platform for Christian authors, musicians, artist, etc.  So I will be transitioning more into PR, Branding and Marketing.  I may also squeeze in another book and more RN Brand tees are definitely coming.

Introducing Author of O Lord, Meet Me in the Morning: Praying the 4th Watch Zari Banks

Describe yourself for our visitors:
Well, I'm a pretty simple woman. I read, write, play, eat and try to participate in as much foolishness as possible. ;0) Oh, and I love NFL football, and my dream is to take part in a loose ball dog pile.

How do you find time to connect with God?
God is my boss so I report to Him every day for work. If I don't connect with Him, I'm unemployed. I write books on praying to and communing with Him, and without Him I have no material, no revelation, no witty inventions and no power to get wealth.

Tell us about your current book?
My current book is titled O Lord, Meet Me in the Morning: Praying the 4th Watch and is a guide for those who want to go as deep into the presence of God as possible. Jesus often went away early - before day - to pray and meet with God, and He did so because that's a time (3 to 6 a.m.) God has allotted to make His presence easily accessible to us here on earth. But, as with anything new you're going to start it makes sense to have a guide to get you into the practice and to make sure you'll be successful, and that's what my book does. I spent 50 days getting up at, and sometimes not sleeping until after, 3 a.m. to pray and go to battle in the Spirit for the manifestation of a promise God made to me last year. Before I finished those 50 days of intense, focused prayer God gave me a vision in which He said, "It is finished."

What valuable lessons do you want readers to learn from your book?
This book is only for those who are serious about their relationship with God, about receiving every promise that He made to them, for those who need mountains moved and who want to operate in the supernatural power of God in their daily lives. God will give anyone everything they need and want if they're willing to get serious about who He is - The Creator of the Universe, The Most High God, The Everlasting Father, The God of Miracles. He is a rewarder of all who diligently seek Him, and if you want His rewards you've gotta go to Him to get them.

What’s next for you?
Well, the promise that I went to battle to have manifested is the return of my son, Zayne, to my custody after 21 months with his father. I had no success in the natural court system so I had to go to court in heaven, and I won. I'm going to pick up my son December 4, 2012, we're going to spend the month together, celebrating his 11th birthday, celebrating Christ's birth and praising Jehovah Nissi for giving us victory.
Beginning in January 2013, my son and I will be traveling the country and sharing our testimony and proclaiming the works of the Lord.

Introducing Author BM Hardin:

How do you find time to connect with God?

Answer: Before all things, my family, friends, or my book, there is God. God is the center of my joy. And I keep him very close to my heart. I have an active prayer life, a close relationship with him. Throughtout my day I find time to talk to Him, asking him for direction. Being that I am a Ministers daughter, he is never forgotten. He never has to fight for time.

Who Are your favorite Authors? Favorite books?

Answer: Terry McMillian; A day late. A dollar short. This is my all time favorite author and favorite book. It was after reading this book that I knew I wanted to write. Her craft, skilled writing, inspired me to write as well. She is also the author of Waiting to Exhale.

Also Brenda Hampton who wrote the Naughty Series is a favorite of mine. I love her style and the way she brings her characters to life.

Whats next for you?

Im working on my third novel, but this one will by far be the most complicated. Im going after a different audience. Not on black woman, but this book I want to reach black, white, hispanic..all woman. So the style of this book is somewhat different.

Tell us about your current book

Answer: My Newest novel "Every Woman has a Price" is a story of Love verses Stability. So many woman choose stability, or comfort over true happiness. This book hits all angles of that dilemna. Youll see her endure the unthinkable just for a life of comfort. This book will make you cuss, fuss, as well as blush. Prepare to expect the unexpected.

Where did you get the idea for your book?

Answer: For Every Woman has a Price, the idea came from realizing that no matter who you are, where you come from, or what color you are, theres always certain things that most women endure just to live a life of stability, or just to be comfortable. Its sad but true that sometimes things are done completely out of character just because they are scared of being alone or because you dont want to go back to where you came from. Every woman has a Price.
