Celebrity Chef Mimi goes on a culinary adventure during Oakland’s 3rd Annual Restaurant Week.
 
Oakland, CA-Celebrity Chef Mimi dined, tasted and sipped her way through Oakland’s 3rd Annual Restaurant Week special priced menus. Oakland Restaurant Week celebrates the thriving culinary scene in Oakland with ten days of special deals.

Chef Mimi gives her personal review of the menus and drinks she sampled. The Chef kicked off her culinary adventure at District infamous Happy Hour. Chef Mimi recommends District for its chic urban ambience and feels its great place to enjoy a glass of wine and catch up with friends. The Chef tasted Bench Vineyard Pinot Noir and recalled the flavors of various berries with the perfect hint of spice.
 
“I went during Happy Hour and hung out with my good friends we both had the Bench Vineyard Pinot Noir,
when the bartender handed me the glass I could instantly smell ripe berries exuberating from the glass” said
the Celebrity Chef of web series Chef Mimi More Than Chef.
 
The culinary adventure continued at Kincaid’s, which is set on the waterfront of Jack London Square and is
known for its exceptional Seafood, Steak and award winning drinks. She had the oven roosted Salmon, encrusted with Honey and peppercorn r cooked medium “The flavors of honey, peeper corn and salmon danced in month” expressed the Bring It to The Table Executive Producer Chef Mimi.
 
There were many other restaurants that the Chef visited throughout the week however she ended the week
at Ozumo’s. The Chef said Ozumo’s is a perfect place to socialize and mingle with a hip crowd who enjoys innovative drinks and eclectic music with the crescendo being the tasty assortment of sushi. “ Par Maguro tuna sashimi with caramelized onions on flat bread completely complements the Lychee
Martini that I had” stated the Celebrity Chef.
 
The Chef is so excited for the vibrant culinary scene that is growing in Oakland. She feels that Oakland is the next foodies dining destination and she thinks its Oakland’s restaurants time to shine.
